Intermational Day of Peace 2014

Next Thursday the 30th, we will celebrate the International Day of Peace, we are preparing several activities for these day. Here are some songs about Peace that you can sing and practice your English. It will be fun!!!

PEL: Christmas in Europe- Navidad en Europa

Para esta navidad 2013 hemos querido trabajar en clase cómo se celebra la navidad en algunos países de Europa. 
Cada curso eligió un país para trabajar la navidad, sus costumbres y tradiciones, personajes navideños, gastronomía, decoración tanto dentro como fuera del hogar y datos curiosos. 
En casa han recopilado información y en clase mediante el trabajo en grupo han confeccionado interesantes murales donde se explica cómo se celebra la navidad. Esta actividad forma parte del proyecto Portfolio Europeo de las Lenguas (PEL).

We are studying the animal Kingdom in Science: mammals, reptiles, fish, birds, amphibians and their main characteristics. As a project our students have made at home a plasticine animal with information about it. They are great!! Good job kids!!!

Last week, we have learnt the h sound in Literacy, our children practice this sound in words like: hat, hair, hippo, hen,... with our white board. It was great!! As a craft we made a happy hat in the Art class.

La pasada semana aprendimos en la clase de Literacy el sonido H, fue muy interesante incluir la pizarra digital en las clases de phonics. Los alumnos/as aprendieron a realizar los ejercicios digitales y como actividad de Art confeccionaron su happy hat. Aquí os dejamos unas fotos de recuerdo.
