Happy Thanksgiving Day!! Feliz Día de Acción de Gracias!

Hoy se celebra en Estados Unidos el día de Acción de Gracias, quizás el día más importante del año para los estadounidenses. Al ser nuestro auxiliar de conversación Andrew, norteamericano, hemos trabajado esta festividad durante esta semana con nuestros alumnado de primaria. 
Andrew ha preparado una presentación para los alumnos/as donde hablaba del origen, las costumbres, el ritual de thanksgiving, la cena y qué supone para ellos dar las gracias por lo que tienen. familia, amigos, salud,... 
Los alumnos/as han conocido el principal vocabulario de esta festividad. Turkey, Pilgrim, Indians, Mayflower, pumpkin pie, cramberry sauce, ... han jugado y han preparado una sorpresa a Andrew...aquí tenéis algunas fotos de los alumnos/as con una postal de Thanksgiving para él.

We would like to introduce our American Language assistant Andrew Yost from Minnesotta. 
He will work in our school from October until May. He is working and helping our students to improve their oral skills. 
Here he is, in a Halloween activity he prepared with the students in our schhol library.
Next week he will talk about Thanksgiving day!

Science project: The living things kingdoms

Our 5th grade children have made their first group project in the Science class. In groups they have searched for information about the living things kingdom: Monera, Protist, Fungus, Animal and Plant Kingdom. Then they explain their work to their classmates.
